Audience Feedback

I used two social networking sites to receive audience feedback; I used YouTube to upload the film on and then Facebook to establish the audience feedback.
The majority of the feedback was very positive. This is useful to have, because you learn different point of view and not just your own. Audience feedback is important because they are the people watching and wanting to be entertained by the trailer. You can see from any audience feedback what it is you are doing right or wrong and for future reference what you can do to change it so that it benefits audiences.
The best way to get audience feedback is to post as much information as possible over the Internet, this is because there are thousands of people online all the time and can constantly critic anything.

We had a chance to hear other audience feedback from the rest of our class.

Here are some of the negative points;

·      Make title bigger on the magazine
·      Billing Block small on poster
·      Poster could include main character
·      Magazine change the colour of the background
·      Title bigger on the magazine next to Harleys face
·      Sound is too loud in some points
·      Poster may not hit target audience

Here are some of the positive points;

·      Good variety of shots
·      Good title for trailer
·      Shots were clear and laid out well
·      Split screen worked well
·      Really effective when the shots got faster, built up tension well
·      Cliff hanger ending
·      I like how the voiceover was split up and not all in one go
·      Good that they have added facts (132billcalls)
·      The title of the phone montage is very professional
·      Good night vision
·      Build up of music is good
·      Silence at the end followed by ‘the other person has cleared’
·      etc

These are screenshots of how many views our trailer had on YouTube, and the comments that people left on YouTube for our own audience feedback.
